Frequently Asked Questions

Coaching typically focuses on looking from present to future and on growth and action. It requires genuine commitment in order to see results. Your coach will see you in a different way than you can see yourself and can help to identify patterns, offer observations, and work with you to explore actions and solutions. It is all in the interest of getting you to where you want to go. The coaching space is also a confidential space guided by ethical standards; it is a space to safely explore your story and experiences.
If you’ve never experienced working with a coach before it might be hard to imagine what it will look like and what you’ll get out of it. The best way to understand it is to experience it first hand.

Executive coaching can help you at any point in your career from starting out, to moving up, to moving on.
Leaders rarely have a space that is truly for them, with a thought partner that is only for them and their needs. The greatest athletes in the world all have coaches supporting them; the greatest leaders in the world are no different.

Coaching begins with an initial meeting between the potential coachee and coach to discuss what coaching looks like and confirm if the parties are the best match for each other. This is a complimentary meeting.
If the two decide to work with each other, a process begins to look at the coachee’s goals, aspirations, realities, challenges, background and we define a path forward together. Typically coaching sessions are an hour in length, happen regularly over a defined period of time and focus on the coachee’s needs.
