Meet Ben Yu Schott
Certified Executive Coach (CEC), member of the International Coaching Federation, and the founder of Summit2Sky.
Before launching Summit2Sky, Ben was a public sector senior executive with over 22 years working for the Canadian and Yukon governments in roles ranging from frontline operations to corporate services and from co-op student to Assistant Deputy Minister. He was also a small business owner in the coffee industry.
Ben is comfortable navigating challenging dynamics, is an authentic presence and listener, is an effective public speaker, and knows how to plan, strategize and deliver. Ben has extensive training in coaching, leadership, facilitation, communication and emotional intelligence.
Ben’s passion has always been people. His proudest career moments have come from supporting the growth and development of individuals, teams and organizations.
Ben created Summit2Sky in order to take all of his career learning and understanding and apply it full time in the world of coaching and leadership development. Knowing the challenges that leadership brings means Ben is best placed to truly understand what people, leaders and organizations need.
Ben’s goal is to provide world-class coaching and leadership development support to those that truly want to be their best selves; channeling their authenticity, owning and living their values, and striving for their full purpose.

Ben loves to spend time with his family, volunteer, run, snowshoe, play basketball & golf, ride motorcycles & drive fun cars, and make great coffee every day.
Ben also enjoys playing music - most recently on bass, and occasional guitar and vocals with his rock band North of Sexy.
